G(irls)20 galvanizes the world’s greatest resource – girls and women –  and cultivates a new generation of leaders through entrepreneurship, education and global experiences.

G(irls)20 advocates for increased female labour force participation and advises the G20 on how to economically engage girls and women to reach growth targets.

To create strong female leaders by providing them with the foundational skills that are critical for successful leadership.  We also work to change the dialogue and level of action and investment made by G20 Leaders toward girls and women around the world.

I am excited to be working with G(irls)20, a powerful initiative based on the growing evidence that empowering girls and women has an exponential effect on economic growth and development.

— Don Baer (Worldwide Chair and CEO of Burson-Marsteller)

The (G)irls20 Summit is a great initiative that will help with the empowerment of the women all around the world, and will also help to open the society’s eyes to the mayor problems related to us. This international event is the beginning of big changes in our society in this XXI century.

At 19 I was a first year law student, having a pretty regular life, not sure of what I actually wanted to do. Being able to live such an experience as G(irls)20 at such a young age has allowed me to have a clearer perspective on my future, broadening my views and teaching me that dreaming big is the right thing to do.

— Caterina Milo (2014 Delegate - Italy)
